FABRICATION: The intricate design and
fabrication of a sea-deployed parachute is facilitated by following techniques,
procedures and guidelines established in the Defense and Aerospace industries.
This includes materials selection. It includes design factors such as the
dimensioning of lines, risers, panels, skirt and vent. It covers the proper
sewing of joints and unions to obtain stress relief and ensure that loads are
primarily carried in the main tension members (radials and tapes) instead of
the lighter material of the canopy itself. The PARA-TECH name is your assurance
of quality fabrication in accordance with standards established in the
parachute industry. Additionally, all PARA-TECH sea anchors are warranted to be
free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year.
